How to Select the Correct Comet Belt
To ensure the ideal fit, follow these instructions:
1. Measure the "Outer Diameter" (O.D.) of the driven pulley located on the jackshaft.
2. Measure the "Center Distance" (C.D.), which is the precise distance between the center of the engine crankshaft and the center of the jackshaft. This measurement must be exact.
3. Utilize both measurements—the driven pulley’s outer diameter and the center distance—to pick the correct belt part number from the corresponding chart provided below.
